The Descent Developers team have released version 1.5.0 of Descent 3, originally developed by Outrage Entertainment, after the source code was recently made available under the GPLv3 license. Descent 3 v1.5.0 includes many fixes and improvements with many more to come. One change of note is that this release includes out-of-the-box support for the new PXO!
The release of the source code has also allowed us to fix and improve support for Descent 3 in PXO. Unfortunately, at this time, the PXO API and Active Games list on the website still do not work properly Descent 3 and are unable to display the correct status and complete game information. Fixes for that are in the works, as well as additional improvements, plus How-To articles covering how to run a dedicated server and even how to use the old 1.4 version from Steam/GoG/Loki with the new PXO.
